Billing questions
Is there a free trial of Socro Pro?
There’s no separate trial. The Free plan works as one: it includes every subject and session history, with 10 messages a day. Upgrade whenever you need more.
How do I upgrade?
Create a free account, then choose Upgrade to Pro from the account menu. Checkout is handled by Stripe.
How does billing work?
Socro Pro is $14.99 (USD) a month and renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe, and Socro doesn’t store full card numbers.
Is Socro Pro really unlimited?
Pro removes the 10-message daily limit. A fair-use limit still applies to keep the service running smoothly for everyone. If an account reaches it, Socro asks you to come back the next day.
What counts as a message?
Each question or reply a student sends counts as one message. Socro’s replies don’t count. The daily count resets at midnight UTC.
How do I cancel?
Choose Cancel Subscription in the account menu. You keep Pro until the end of the billing period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
Can I get a refund?
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If something has gone wrong, email support@socro.io and we’ll look at your request case by case.
How do I update my card or see invoices?
Pro subscribers can choose Manage Billing in the account menu to update their payment method and view invoices.
